View Full Version : Picked the v2 up from Scott and I'm half way home at applebees Once again thank you mreilly and Scott for the best deal possible. I was amazed how much meaner the car looks in person. The ride unbelieveable compared to the v1 and any other gm I've had. Didn't get on it too much. I put 450 miles on it today. But when I did it reminded me of my 2002 z06. Wow. Will upload some pics when I get home. It was pouring the last hour of my half trip. Guess my first wash is this weekend. On e again if your on the fence don't hesitate, call Scott and he will hook u up for best deal and no hastle. Also thanks for all the help on the forum. I'm back
Ab CTSV_510 04-02-09, 10:13 PM Nice! Scott sounds like a great guy. Sweet!! Ill be in your shoes in about a month or so! Check in w/ pics when you get home and have her all cleaned up!

a) Scott is the man, b) the break-in for your brakes is now done, YAY, and c) the break-in for the car itself should be just about done by the time you get home so you can really play with it.
Drive safely and don't forget to post pix of your trip and car! colbachlaw 04-03-09, 01:16 PM I just picked up my V from Scott about two hours ago and I am headed west. Only 1,435 miles to Santa Fe, and then on to Vegas and home to Portland.
I can't wait to break it in so I can start driving hard.
Scott was awesome to deal with and it was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever made.
They have a ton of Vs so if you are thinking of picking one up, give Scott a call.

I am glad you had a safe trip.. Did you get pics of the arc and the car? OldDrummer55 04-04-09, 11:42 AM Good point Scott. Al of you guys who are traveling cross country, especially the Left Coast dwellers should try to stop at famous locations and have a pic of your car taken with the site. Now that would be an interesting "sticky"... member trip pics. Mike C., vperl and others are traveling right now... You guys could stop in Deadwood, SD and drink whiskey, cuss a lot, stare at the bar girls and be manly... but how would you get the car in the saloon??? dvandentop 04-04-09, 12:50 PM sweet ride man, silver ftw i hit the arch at sunrise with am traffic up my ass. sorry no pics I do my best. I took pics of my trip home but there's really nothing famous between Brighton and Cleveland.
This is a good idea, nevertheless. When the Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony hoopla dies down here in Cleveland, I'll see if I can snap a pic in front of the Rock Hall of Fame Building. Two distinctive designs deserve one another.....or maybe a pic in front of one of our "Witness" posters downtown if they're still up (aka Witness LeBron kicking everyone else's a$$....I wonder if he's a V2 owner?) vperl did u call me? I'm sorry I didn't get message till I got home.

Stuck happily in Lincoln NB at the Best western
80W blocked wwith snow colbachlaw 04-05-09, 11:32 AM Van,
Sorry to hear you are stuck in the snow.
We changed our route and went south once we heard the weather report.
In Santa Fe today and on to Vegas tomorrow.
Great trip so far, except for a 3 mile stretch of gravel (just what I wanted to take my brand new car through) that was not marked in a construction zone. Now I get to find out what a windshield costs.
So far I am very impressed with the car.
12 hours of driving a day has not been bad, the only hard part is keeping it under 90.
I have not gotten into boost much, as I only have 1,600 on the engine, but I definitely need Jes's help with a tune, as it is a little slow to kick down (auto) and throttle response is a little slow.
I can't wait to get to Vegas, get an oil change, and see how she lays rubber.

You'd better beat on something to stay warm! How's the Nebraska snow storm? Get back in the hot tub with those young, hard body VA nurses you brought along... :lildevil: thebigjimsho 04-05-09, 05:26 PM you guys really need to learn how to quote...
