Guys,

Checked the GMS for friends link out this morning and it is disabled on the GMFamilyFirst website. Until further notice I can only give out GSU (Supplier) discounts. Things change fast so I will post if I can get the ability to GMS.

Thanks,
Matt

New month and new quarter (and April Fools!) No real surprise there.

I just spoke with Scott Pratt and with my friend at GM engineering and this is fact. I hope they add it back as I had planned on visiting Scott today to get a car but will not buy at supplier price.

Holy smokes. I just got my number yesterday. I'm glad I didn't wait another day.

I did over 30 numbers last month so there are quite a few lucky ones also!!

Even at MSRP this car is killer, at Supplier pricing it is even better. At GMS, well ..... you are stealing it!!!:tisk:

The difference is still substantial, here is an example vehicle that I pulled up a few weeks ago for someone.

Example Vehicle: 2009 Automatic with NAV and Ultraview Roof:
MSRP :$64340
Supplier: $59788
GMS : $57220

For the record I'm also an employee and would be happy to help folks get a discount as well. Yeah, I tried to get a GMS number for someone yesterday an no dice...grrrrrr!

This is a heartbreaker for me. I hope they reinstate soon as it does make a big difference in my abioity to get this car in my garage.

Hi, I'm relatively new to the forum. Been lurking for a while, just reading up about the V2 before I decided to take the plunge. Will be trading in a C5Z06 for the V2.

Anyhow, I placed a deposit to order a V2 a couple weeks ago, they told me it would arrive in 6-8 weeks. Just wanted to ask MReiland, YoshiV, and any others who can get discount codes, what is the proper procedure to get a code? Do I just send you a PM? Should I wait until the car arrives?

Can GM Card points be used with GMS?

I'm not Scott, but I can answer this: No, they can't. You can't use your points with GMS, GSU, or any other "special deal" the dealer may be running.

Scott:

Can GM Card points be used with GMS?

The only GM Card that can be used is the GM Extended Family Credit Card ..

All other cards are a no...

What is the status of getting a GMS code? Is it still offline or a no go?

Thanks!

How long are the supplier certificates good for? I don't have one, and I need one, but I'm not ready yet. Waiting is killing me, I may have to just pull the trigger sooner rather than wait.

Still a No Go. Supplier (GSU) is a go, about 2k higher but still much lower than MSRP. No conquest vehicle requirements either. P.M. me if you are interested.

Supplier codes that are generated right now expire in October 2009
