I recently had my car re-painted and now need some replacement trim clips. They hold on the trim pieces that go around the bottom of the vinyl roof, between the roof and the rear trunk lid area. Here is a picture of one:

They are 2" long by 3/8" wide and have "WD 10" on them. Any help would be appreciated, before I have to use gobs of silicone to keep it all on. Thanks!

I usually get that stuff at NAPA but other parts stores may have them. Those are a little longer than most I've seen but they should have them anyway; if not shorter ones may work. I'm assuming those are plastic clips.

Here are a couple of specialists; my experience is that NAPA and the like never carry anything like this.

Those are some handy links. I saw the clips caddy kid needs at northlandfasteners. My NAPA has a good supply of the basic stuff though.

I have a set of GM clips for the 81 sedan I'm replacing the vinyl roof on. I bought them from a dealer a couple of years ago. They are part no. 20171577. The dealer said today that they are no longer in the GM system but had gone to Vintage. You would need to have a dealer call vintage on your behalf to check price and availability. There is also a short clip which is used where the mould makes the sharp turn upwards before it makes the transition to the filller panel between the deck lid and the back window. That clip is GM part no. 20199675. I didn't ask the dealer if it was still a good number but one is required per side and I have a bag of 10. If you cant find any, I'll send you a couple of mine.
Cheers...........R.

I'll try my local Cadillac dealer with those numbers you gave me. A few years ago the roof was replaced, and now I had to remove the trim again to get it painted, so I'm not sure exactly what all it should have. Thanks!

Ended up having to order the clips from Northland Fastners. (http://northlandfasteners.biz/Store/index.php?osCsid=a7bab72d6fb0c669431f6c2c2038642b) Naturally, the ones I needed the most of were the most expensive. N12765 (http://northlandfasteners.biz/Store/product_info.php?cPath=25_63&products_id=78) are the long ones that I needed, and N14642 (http://northlandfasteners.biz/Store/product_info.php?products_id=234) which are the short ones I was looking for. I also bought a few others that looked close in the pictures, but none were even close. So it looks like I'm set. Thanks!
