I had been frustrated with skipping CDs on both my old CTS and current XLR.
Recording slower had no effect on the problem.

Amazingly, what I found (by way of another forum) was that the CD manufacturer brand DID matter.

I switched to CD's made by Taiyo Yuden (available online at various sellers) and have had no problems since, even when recording at relatively high speeds.

They are fantastic cars. I heard that GM sold one this year too.
