Per the GM ordering guide dated March 20, 2009, there are 2 new options for the CTS-V. The first is All Weather Mats...RPO VAV and also Real Sapele Wood Trim...RPO B18.
Does anyone know anything about these options and their availability.

alot of people will like the real wood trim feature. Sounds like these are all the extras in the 2010 models

I'm looking forward to ordering a 2010 black/titanium with wood trim in August. Please don't fail me now GM!

All weather mats are a necessary option here in dismal, rainy Cleveland, Ohio. Thanks for the news.

That figures, since I just ordered rubber mats.

I wonder how much it would cost to add the wood trim to the V after the fact. The fake carbon fiber stuff is lame, and the only thing I don't like about the otherwise excellent interior. At least its not like the Lexus IS-F which has way more fake carbon fiber, and it looks like a kid's toy.

My V is in transit to the dealer (been that way for 2 weeks now:rant2:). I assume I could eventually order the parts from GM, but I'm sure they aren't cheap.

As of right now the wood trim is available to order but the all weather mats are not. In fact ny dealer just placed an order for an 09 V with the Sapele real wood

What color is that wood? A dark black wood to match the trim would look really nice.

It is described as Midnight Sapele Wood Trim.
it appears to be quite dark.
