I have a lead on a used set of NON-OEM 20" wheels. I have a 07' V8 AWD with factory 18" staggered tires. My question is what size tires would you recommend to be installed front and rear?
Thanks in advance, Rick

Hi Rick.. My 2008 AWD N* V-8 Came from Factory with Goodyear Eagles RSA P255/50R20 Front and Rear. Hope this helps..

I purchased the 20" wheels which have a worn set of Pirelli tires. They are 275/40-20, for all 4 wheels. Do these need to be staggered like my factory 18's?
Should I replace these tires with a set of 255/50-20's?
The 275/40 appear to be about the same height as my stock 18" rubber.

Here is a pic of the wheel's

To keep your speedometer accurate, I would first go to:
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
then use the size that would cause the least amount of error

Thanks for that link!! That will be saved forever......It's awesome!

OK, it looks if I stay with the 275/40-20 they will be within .04" (front) and .03" (rear) shorter than the stock 18"s

If i was to go with the 255/50-20 they would be .9" taller (front) and 1" taller (rear)

I guess my decision is easy now :D I'll stay with the 275/40-20's

Two thoughts: 1) make sure that the offsets are OK for SRX; 2) ensure that the 275s provide adequate clearance, esp for front end turning, with the wheel-tire combination.
Good Luck

We have 275-45R20 on Foose wheels on my wife's 07 and they fit with no clearance problems at all.

How do you find the 275s in snow?
