I will be out of town from April 26 to May 9th so the choice is obvious for me.

This is a perfect example of why I stopped trying. I love to do these little meets, have some lunch, make new friends but no one ever seems to be interested.

I'm tempted to drive to NJ because it seems they never work out in my area either. I'm just debating whether it's worth a 5 hour drive or not..I'd prefer to get one a little closer.

Long Island City is just west of Manhattan in Queens, it is not in "Long Island". It is the first city over the 59th Street Bridge.

i looked up the track...nice! i know im going to sound really stupid but im confused....are you guys thinking of driving on the track? or watching other cars?...i hope driving lol

Those who don't want to hit the track can watch. It's fun to often observe friend's/acquaintances in these things. Good size lot for meeting up and plenty of opportunities for pictures.
Restaurants all over the place to grab a bit before or after if the track alone isn't enough.

Either way it's a good time. That's why I get aggravated at how difficult it is to put together a meet. we have like 88,000 members on this forum and we can't get 10 or 20 in the same place at the same time.

guys I'm actually considering heading down for this..its about 4 hours for me to englishtown. Whether or not I go depends on 1) the date (later is better), and 2)what will actually be going on. I'd need to know how long the day will be and what the activities will be to see if its worth the drive. I'd love to see everyone's Caddy...I don't necessarily think of my 00 Deville as a car to race the v's with, but if there were enough other cars parked for me to admire, it might be worth going anyway. So, I'll wait to see some more info before deciding..

^^ lol at tone. You have a few options as far as clear fogs; if you don't want to do a search, wait until the 25th & you can talk to Steve & a few of us who tried different methods to get clear fogs.

It was good, anytime at the track is good. Only about 8 people showed.
