Anyone know where I can find a trunk badge/emblem that says "5.7 LITER V8"
for my '92 Brougham d'Elegance?
Preferably in gold, similar to this picture I found.
Checked eBay; none available, at least not at the moment.

As you know, e-bay really is the best place to find old/new auto emblems.Keep checking periodically---one will show up sooner or later.
I needed an emblem a year ago for my 1995 Sedan Deville---i kept checking every few days and 1 showed up 2 months later.
I simplified the process by keeping the exact e-bay page i needed to check in my computer`s "favorites" list and when i wanted to check it it was just 1 mouse click away.

Go to a local salvage yard. I don't know about the ones in Massachusetts, but the ones in Ohio don't care about the emblems and normally give one or two away for free. If you can't find a gold emblem, you make a silver one look gold by painting it with a Pilot Gold Marker. They should have one in the art supplies department of any local store, or you can buy one on-line (http://www.google.com/products?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS303&=&q=pilot%20gold%20marker&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf). When you use the marker, you can't just color the emblem, you have to push the tip of the marker down on a piece of paper to get a puddle of ink, and then brush the color onto the emblem.
My car came from the factory with gold emblems, but by the time I bought it most of them had been stolen. In acquiring new emblems, I changed up the look of the car a little by adding non factory emblems. Most of what I got was not Gold, so I made it Gold.
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=375&pictureid=2806 Before (She came with a gold wreath but I like the V better) http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=375&pictureid=2807 After. The V is the exact same color as the shield and it shines in th sun. I had to do the same thing with the Cadillac script and trunk badge and they looks just as good. Every few months the color needs to be touched up.
