I have an '04 SRX and I am having A/C and heating problems. When the climate control is completely turned off, there is very hot air blowing in the foot area and slightly from the upper vents. When I put in on A/C mode, it is still blowing really hot air. In addition, it doesn't seem to be managing the temperature even in auto mode. 90 degrees displaying feels the same as 60 degrees.....hot!. I took it to a place today that works on Cadillacs and Jaguars and they said there could be an actuator problem that is preventing the cool air from blowing into the cabin. Does this make sense? You can hear the compressor come on when the A/C button is engaged, but again it is very hot air. I tried recharging it with R-134A refrigerant but no difference. Any ideas/suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
