Well, you can't have my marble trim kit (which is almost as good as swŠde), but you might find one here...

modding to be different shows insecurities that likely formed in the juvenile stage...

Oh man....I have heard it all now. I should just shutoff the laptop and roll over and die.:D:D

And if that is not the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is....

We V owners went out and bought a car that was a limited production car. I can not speak for everyone that bought this car, but I bought mine because I was tired of driving a car that everyone else drove. I wanted a high horsepower sedan, and a great American car.

I thought that modding ones car was done to be different

Modding is good for improving. modding to just be different is teh ghey. because usually being different looks stoopid. and you defending stoopidity is uncouth...

ManÖ You guys are brutal. Mine came with a kit. The car is black, has the light interior and dark cherry wood. The radio knobs, door locks and shifter set off the interior. I had black plastic in my Mustang, my Mountaineer and my Camaro. I think that what I have now is by far the best looking interior.

Of courseÖ.Iím old now :)

...and have bad taste :duck:

Seriously I have no issues with these types of threads IN THE LOUNGE, or regular 03-07 CTS, or somehwere else. This forum is for discussion of the awesomeness of the V, and how to make it much mohr awesomer....wood grain dash kits, and/or seat covers DOES NOT QUALIFY HERE...TAKE IT TO THE LOUNGE!

Sal if this is an issue, please PM me. I think ,quite honestly, I speak for the majority of the V1 forum here.

That's the GTO knob. I drilled the hole a little too large and the shifter is not as tight as I'd like.

Tastes are subjective. Kind of like the use of fonts.

All the cars I've had before this one were about acceleration. I think Iíve talked myself out of pulling the engine out of this car, but never say never. I hope to keep this car about handling and about keeping it clean. (per my subjective tastes)

As mentioned before. To each their own.

Who's V is that? Is that how it was when you bought it or did you do that to it?

The car was completely stock when I got it last year. Iíve been making small mods. CAI, Exhaust, shifter, bushings, rear strut brace, tune, etc. Iíll probably get another set of stock rims, mount some sticky tires and go autocrossing again.

The last car I had was a STS turbo Camaro. I was working my way towards 500 rear wheel horsepower when I lost the car in a fire. So I think Iím done with the major mods.
