Ok Cadi members I have searched everywhere with no luck.
I have 98 Seville SLS with 86K and it has been overheating so I need to find the coolant test to make sure there are not exhaust gasses in the coolant.
Also does coolant leak from the car when there is a Bad HG?
Most of the coolant slowly very slowly drips from the driver side front back to the drivers door. I got under there and the coolant its riding the brake lines back that far.
With a HG, usually the coolant will leak, or rather blow, out of the surge tank, as it is being forced out due to the introduction of combustion gases into the cooling system.

It drips out while sitting overnight a spot at big as a softball.

Do some snooping around the thermostat housing and water pump cover. The brake module is just to the driver's side of them and you may get lucky, otherwise it's the PITA crossover gaskets.

The pump and thermo housings are bone dry!
Anyone point me to the coolant test...PLEASE!!!!!

Ok I got the test but after reading it says to put the unit in the radiator neck....well I can't do that.
How do you test it on a Cadillac?
Put it in the surge tank neck.
