Am I gonna have some competition now? :)

Don't *****-foot around with your mods. Just get a Maggie first. Everything else is just gravy.
Unless you wanna go N/A (for the life of me, I can't see why). Then do headers, intake, TB and cam. Do them at the same time, and save $$$ on tuning.

even locally you have competition. same here 814V, warranty expired 03/05/09, 43k miles!!! still looking to come over on the east side and see your ride. I already purchased the Katech short throw and some other goodies.

Good advice here even if you don't maggie it. Collect your mods and get them over and done with in one session then get a tune. I'm just thinking back to how much I could've saved.

The maggie install was fun. I want to do another one.

BTW my car is weak. I made 434/412 SAE on a dynojet on Saturday. Guess those headers aren't helping me Tony!

I guess I need a cam now. :lildevil:

I did my mods one at a time. Can't imagine the kick in the butt it'd be to do a bunch all at once. If you got the bucks and are going to do them anyway, I'd certainly do 'em all in one session with one big tune.

I know...my torque is right inline with you, but you've got about a thousand more HP that I do. I just posted a thread with the graph...the torque line is a frickin thing of beauty.

BTW 814V - get a maggie if you want a torque curve like ours. ;)

im gonna go the N/A route.. not that i dont like the maggie, i just want to do something different. im not looking to have the biggest baddest car out there. just enough to keep me excited about my :v:

i will save up and buy a mild cam, headers and a good tune from STAGEUP

then i will get a set of coil overs, put my stock wheels on (if my tires ever show up) put my short throw in.. and ya that should keep my hard on going for a little longer

you should've seen my brother freak out when he saw it. we spent the winter and spring test driving all sorts of cars. most were in the $35G range. I saved my pennies and was able to sell off 2 cars. fun times...

Headers are for wussies! But its worth the $2000 since they gave you the same numbers as an un-tuned Platinum V

Much more fun to do a little at a time. But I was saying, if he has the Money for a Maggie, he could do headers, intake and cam for around the same price. One big hp jump is better than a few little ones.

except on the road course where 1 medium hp jump has a tough time with a few smaller ones...:thepan:
