I have a cadillac question? It might not mean anything at all but I was wondering about the logo. What does the emblem mean and why are there ducks on it? I think its cool cause I like ducks, but does anyone have the story behind it?

The ducks of the original Cadillac crest are derived from the coat of arms of Le Sieur Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, who founded the City of Detroit in 1701. Along the way, the ducks were lost, probably helped by a poorly received ad campaign, the cartoon Catera add to be exact, that used a duck as the mascot.

The new badge is inspired by the work of European geometric painter Piet Mondriaan.
