what do you all think, changed trans fluid at 58k bad stuff in pan lots of sludge
now with new fluid and filter, it starting to slip, tried some slick 50 trans treatment a little better but still slips...
time for a new tranny
dont think it was ever changed by original (elderly owners) no records...
always insist when you buy a low mileage car.

That's a pretty good price IMO. I had the 4l60e rebuilt in my 1999 Z28 for $1800 when you factor in taxes, etc.

Rebuilt 700R4s sell for $500-700. Figure about $300-400 for installation.
