: Track Pack Availability?

I've tried searching here to see if any info has been posted previously about the Track Pack option (2 piece rotors, red calipers and a differential cooler) that has been mentioned in a couple of media reviews.
I'm hoping someone here might have some definitive information as to if (or when) this may be available.
Thanks in advance.

Elie

The only info. I've seen regarding the Track Pack option is that Brembp still has a hold on the rotors, as noted in the following post:

Thanks, Rob!
Been asking some questions and was informed on Friday via a friend at GM... who says the Track Pack was originally supposed to be on the table as an option for MY 2010 but is now a no-go.
Nothing definite at this stage but it looks like there is some discussion currently about free-flow braking options (bigger Brembo's and colored calipers)... no word on the diff cooler.
One of the dealers maintains there is a CTS-V performance rotor kit from GMPP that is made up of cross drilled vented rotors ... fronts and backs.
FWIW, I tried plugging in both part#'s mentioned for brakes from the above thread into the latest online GMPP catalogue and they came up blank.
The Track Pack option would be a great thing to have, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.:(

Best regards,

Elie

Don't hold your breath.
Heck don't even hold your nose... Doubt this one's gonna happen anytime soon.

All I've come across is this Front and Rear rotor set, but I'm unsure if it's simply a cross-drilled replacement rotor for our existing brakes, or an upgraded rotor. They don't appear to be two piece rotors at any rate.

Sorry for the thread jack...when I was instructing a guy in his 09 V 2 weekends ago we kept getting a warning message "diff. fluid too hot reduce speed." The brakes felt pretty solid but he didn't get into them all that much.

JeffThose are not for the new V. See the stud count?

I thought all V2 rotors were 2 piece. I thought the Track Package brakes were grooved with colored calipers...

Hey guys, this site says they have 2 piece rotors for the '09V. That may not be accurate, but check if you want. If you're serious, and if they have them, I may have access to a discount code from a friend. I may be able to use that...
