Have a bad AC pump bearing on a 1994 Cadillac Eldorado 4.6L engine, would like to know if anyone has used a shorter serpentine belt to bypass the pump pulley. I know there's an after market bracket with pully but I don't want to tear car apart to install one. Would greatly appreciate it if anyone has any information on this subject!

Yup, I have a shorter belt on my engine, bypassing the a/c compressor. Hold on while I find the info on the size of belt I'm using.

Bypass belt: 74.5" approx $25 (Goodyear 4060745 or AC Delco 6k739). If the 94 4.6 is the same as a 97 4.6.

I have 5060755 on mine.... it's a little looser than the size mentioned above but I figure it's better for the bearings in all of the other components.
Breakdown on the number
50 = the brand
60755 = length in millimeters
