PST has sold them on ebay for over a year now. Cheaper ($999), too. They sell the caps for 169 a set.

I want them but not at that price.

Set Price: $1,199.95 per set including four center caps, emblems and lug nuts.

That's actually a pretty good price IMO. Go price out some Fiske or HRE's or other high end wheels, they'll run you like 4k for a set.

Now if I could find some nice whitewalls like those.

The problem I have with the price is that they are Chinese wheels. If you look at lowrider wire wheels that are Chinese, these should sell for half of what they are priced at. This is a made in America price for a made in China product. And, to me, that is a rip-off. Someone is making a BIG mark-up on these wheels (I would bet more than 100%).

I'm sure you're right. I knew what this thread was gonna be about before I opened it. Somebody knows that these wheels are disappering and they can pretty much ask whatever they feel like.

There is a junkyard by me that has a perfect set of those (or they could be the original factory wire rims), with center caps, siting on an 84 Fleetwood Brougham. The yard manager wants $100 for each one, or $400 for the set (including the full size spare).

I'd snap them up and hock them on ebay for $800.
