Right now the Girlfriend is less than thrilled. I took a job back in October knowing full well taking days off until we get fully staffed would be frowned upon. Waking up to the weather we had overnight got me thinkin sick day. The drive home the night before took an extra 20 minutes with a parking lot stop for a solid donut. But after talking with the guy who plowed my driveway I made the decision to head in...no cuddle time with baby...

So im at work, taking care of business. I took some pics though before I left for work...you can see why my gf was so concerned.

Im running Nokian WRG2's, great cold weather dry traction and just enough to get me where i need to go when its dicey.

i agree, they should eliminate salting...that would weed out all non hackers like stupid moms and Hacidics with invincible syndrome in thier minivans. Plus the roads wont be such a mess during the spring thaw...we can all dream or just move closer to the equator.

Can I change the title of the thread to this lol?

FYI for us crazies who run this car in the winter....make sure you dont let the grill ice up. I noticed my oil temp creeping on the way home last night, pulled over, pimpslapped the Ice off my grillz and that solved my heat exchange issue.

Snow does't stop me either! :highfive:

I drove to work this morning in 5-6 inches of snow. No issues, no sweat.

I love this car!

our annual snowfall averages 5 or 6 inches, most years nothing... 70+ degrees end of last week then on Sat--bam. 7-12 inches...pretty good for us. You guys that drive in snow must have some kickass tires...because bridgestones suck!!!

Im not sure that I mentioned my commute is from Orange County NY 10950 to Stamford CT 09601...It normally takes me about an hour to get to and from work...Im under 50 minutes if I push it. I also have a route that bypass' the Tappan Zee bridge saving me $25 a week in tolls but it probably cost me a few bucks in gas given the twisties up in Bear Mountain....needless to say thats not the route I took in this afternoon...thats a deathwish for an AWD car with snow tires let alone the V.

I'm glad my job means I drive the company car all day long. Of course, I'd rather drive the V but I wouldn't want to have 300,000 miles on it right now...
