I've been going through all the forums and I still can't find a sure fire way to be 100% sure what I have. Not that it really matters because I am 100% percent happy with it. All I know for sure is the V8 northstar. Thanks

There is a tag on the bottom side of the spare tire cover in the trunk that lists all the options on your car.

In addition, I think the dealer can put the VIN number into the computer and print out a new WINDOW STICKER.

There were only 2 models made. The standard car which was available with either the V6 or your Northstar V8. The other was the V Series. If your car has the word "Supercharged" across the lower doors you have one of these.

That's it, really.

There are also AWD and RWD options as well as many trim levels and suspension options.

I really like the service being provided over in the CTS-V forum. They will do a VIN lookup and provide a dealer service history & build sheet for your car. I became a Supporting Member for a month to expedite it. I have enjoyed the site so much, I've made a longer commitment.

If it worries you having the VIN in the public domain, don't do this. (I don't feel like it's a big dealer because used car VIN's are already widespread in Dealer Ads, etc. and can be seen by anyone that's interested in looking at your car in a parking lot.)
