I need a rear door and a hood for my 95 FWB. I've located a few in two junkyards that're about 75 miles away from here, but I'd like to get one that's the same color as my car (Dark Cherry Metallic.)

The junkyard people aren't very friendly and only can tell me that the two doors they have, off a 94 and 96, respectively, are "burgundy."

My question is how many colors were available on the Fleetwoods in 93-96, specifically those that look red? I don't really feel like traipsing across state lines to find out that the color of the door is a slightly off-shade of red. I'll try and ask if they can get the paint code off the trunk, but the last time I asked them to do anything, they didn't respond to me.

Would I need to find another 95 to get the same shade of red? Again, it's Dark Cherry Metallic, the same color that was optional on the Impala SS, so I figure it's a fairly popular color.

Thanks

There was Dark Cherry Red Metallic and Garnet Red Metallic.

The Garnet Red Metallic is lighter than DCM.

Both could be considered 'burgundy.'

I don't know if this will help; the dark cherry looks kind of funky.

My '93 Brougham is Dark Cherry Metallic, it is a nice color in person:

That's what I meant, I know it's a nice color but that color chart has it way off.
