I was looking online and I happend to spot the ASA Rvolution wheels...
This is what mine look like at the moment... heavy brake dust, salt and road grime has caused the finish to dull and the clear coat to begin peeling off...
I will post pictures when they are complete...
For now I am switching from the winter wheels to the "spring/fall" wheels... and in a few short months to the summer wheels... LOL
THe new pictures will be up in a few days... I hope no crazy snow storms come my way while I am fixing them up...

Well I thought it was going to be a lot more work then it really was...
I got some wet sand paper... 800 to start off.. moved to 1500 and 2000... then some aluminum polish that my girl got me for valentines day... and this is the result...
The other three I will try to get done tomorrow!

wow, good job. Looks good. Anyone know anyone selling something like these or stock chrome ones? I currently have the stock "painted" wheels.

I think ebay has chrome ones every now and then... I have a second set of the 17" SPORT wheels if you are interested... I have 3 of the refinished... the forth one I am working on but those will be good to take and powdercoat or something... let me know!...

The pictures above are of the ASA wheels on teh left and the OEM SPORT wheels on the right... they are five star look like SS wheels...

oh,ok. yea i like them. how much and where are you located? you said 3 of them are painted and 1 isn't?
02-26-09, 08:03 AM
I am in Detroit area... the 3 of them I stripped and repainted due to some bad scratches... the forth one has few scratches, some curbrash and I will get around to it as well...
I was going to use them but I was planning to respray some color matched paint with a spray gun but been so busy lately no time for that... so I think I will sell them all ready to go for 350$...

Were they ever on Cateras or were they just on Opels?
02-26-09, 12:26 PM
Yep the OEM SPORT wheels were on all 2000 and 2001 Cateras with the SPORT Option.... they have a stiffer suspention and a few other things such as brakes and different interior and OEM HIDs...
Otherwise now that I am thinking the current wheels the ones on the pictures are also for sale... with the tires... which have around 8000mi on them... I think I will be asking 600$ for those...

Thanks for showing me the differece. I do really like those 2000+ sport wheels, they look exactly like chevy SS wheels. If you want to take them to DTW usairways terminal and put them on the next PHL flight ill take em off you. lol

I am sure that we can arrange something....
Now are you talking about the ones with the tires on them or the other ones... ?
I have two sets and will probably try to sell both of them...
The set of wheels (no tires) will get repainted and will be in like new condition!... but I will need some time for that...
