Very NICE!!!!!! So far all of V2s with custom weels have come out nice. I hope I can keep the streak alive when I get my custom wheels later this week. For all that are on the fence on whether to go with custom aftermarket wheels (as far a looks not weight) the proof is in the pudding.

Does not look like you could lower it as much as the silver one?

We lowered the Silver a ton originally for Display but it is now 3/4 all the way around. White car will be the same someday.....just way to busy to get the guys to mess with it. The way we are doing it is quite the job.

We sell them at our shop. HRE is taking about two weeks to build. The 21's are not cheap. $8980 is HRE Retail. If you send me a PM I can quote you a price as I have to be careful advertising a minimum price.

That is your opinion. HRE sells over $10 million dollars worth of wheels and Michelin sells a few PS2's. So I am guessing someone thinks it is worth it.

I agree. While a little pricey for my wallet, HRE makes some incredible wheels with incredible quality.
Peoples opinions amaze me, or atleast the way they phrase it. Anyways, thanks for posting the pics and the info. Car looks good.

well although its a few Gs more than i expected to put towards that, the diff between 20's and 21's... is def worth it. (esp w a little Hennessey discount love from Dave LOL)

the big girl just needs some bigger shoes.

my concern though is a little while back i was looking at putting 21's on a different ride and i was talked out of it since there were very few tire companies that made them, and they were being phased out.

The ride is very close to the same. On rough roads you can tell a little.

Great looking setup for sure! The PS2's are a great rubber and the only brand I would suggest when doing such a low profile on the Caddy.

We look forward to working with the Forum members on the HRE Packages. Feel free to call me at the shop or shoot me an email as well if you need assistance.

I love the look of the wheels. I 'd love to see it in person to see how big/low it actually looks. I do see how $10k is a bit much for a $65-70k car, but if this is your car and that's what you want, it's not too much. Over the last 20 years, I've thrown more money at cars that were worth less than the mods I was putting on them, so, I really get it.

Personally, I couldn't pull the trigger on 10k wheels/tires, but they look phenomenal regardless.

X2 - I like em too, especially on that color of v2. But 10K ... ? Don't know if I like em that much. I guess I'm just weird or something, but I think the polished OEM wheels look great on the color of my car, (raven) - plus they weigh a little less. Generally, I think Cadillac did a great job picking the parts for the v2, except for the pinched exhaust, which I intend to remedy at first opportunity ..

Not so sure about the men part, I'm still in my experimental stage....defin8ly can't spell.

21's will defin8ly affect handling and performance. That whole rotational mass thing.

This is a personal preference issue. I am sure some people out there love big 'ole dubs. Free market wouldn;t supply them if someone wasn't buying. I'm not one of them. I'm sure there are others that would love to spend $12k on some rimz, again I'm not one of them.

With that said, I spent $4k on a cam upgrade on my car. A lot of people think I'm a total tard for spending that kind of coin, and I have not issues with their opinion, or them telling it to me. I will give my opinion on this board though.

If you don't like what I have to say, just hit 'ignore'. It's that easy.

Nicest V I've seen so far. I love that white color! The Cayenne Turbo I purchased used came with 22x10" Techart wheels. They cost $1400 a piece w/o rubber. I love the look and glad the previous owner shelled out for them but wouldn't have spent the cash on them myself.

That is now the 2nd V2 I've seen with Black wheels (or at least the insets) that to my eye look pretty good- the black rims on this DW example looks spectacular.
Never thought I'd say that about black wheels. I've seen so many of those that just don't look right on the car (and the color) they've been put on.

For just one example, somebody in my neighborhood owns a '07 Chevy Tahoe and its color is that metalllic goldish-tan, with black wheels... What a hideous pig it is.

First time poster...and I have to say, that is the best wheel upgrade I have yet to see. Several wheels have left me thinking it would have been better to keep the relatively nice OEM wheels on and saving the $$ for go fast mods.

Yes, the HREs are pricey. He probably didn't pay the full $9K for them, but sometimes you have to pay $$ for quality. A buddy of mine has finally beat it into my head that you buy the best tools you can afford because they are ALWAYS worth it. Wheels and tires are what get, and keep the power from the amazing LSA engine to the ground.

I might have picked 20"s if it were me for ride comfort and tire longevity, but hey, if he wants 21"s then let him be a big baller.

Love the black on the white. Very sweet. Bravo to the OP.

I like the wheels a lot but personally I think a little lip would look much better. HRE wheels and Kinesis (out of business now) are not allowed on road racing events because they would crack under pressure. Is that still valid?

I recall this incident (wheel falling apart) being erroneously associated with a variety of different custom wheel manufacturers that had nothing to do with it.

I think Kinesis was the one that had the problem, but I'm certain it was not HRE.
