Saab has been cut loose already.

Now it appears, unless the Germans can come up with US$4.23B, Opel could be next:

do you think opel is still really making parts for these cars? i'd say 95% of the catera parts around are new-old-stock and used.
whats gonna happen if opel goes under? i don't see it directly affecting me in any way.
whats gonna happen when i cant get parts for my catera? i'm gonna rig whatever it is that needs rigging, sell it, and buy something newer/better.

By the time opel goes under we will need to buy new cars anyways. The newest catera is 8 years old.
