Is there any kit out there that hooks up to the factory cd changer harness and allows you to use an iPod?

This is what you will need. Also states that you will have to disconnect the factory CD changer if equiped. Which bring me to ask if anyone has a working CD changer I can buy off them?

Search around for USA SPEC GM45 PA11.. I have one... hooks up to your Trunk Mounted CD changer plug and allows you to plug in anything with a headphone jack...

WOrks like a charm and you can switch songs from the steering mounted controls...

Runs around 130$

Does it display the songs on the radio display?

No... I wish it did but it says what track it is... so you can sort your music in 5 diff playlists and it will play those as if they were CDs... but all controls work...
