How long does it take my first post to 'show up' on the message board?

Well, if you put it down here in Site news, which is a sort of "what's wrong with Internet Explorer today?" catchall, it posts immediately, but may not be seen for days - better to go to New Member Introductions and post a blurb of who you are and what you do. Post your car and model in your profile to help people make diagnoses......Become a Supporting member......Welcome !!!! :lildevil:

Thanks for the reply, I thought this post would take some time to be noticed....

I posted an introduction message to the Eldorado board, received a message back that it will have to be approved by a moderator, I guess more specifically how long does it take a moderator to approve a post? And is that something for new users? Or every post goes through a moderator approval?

CF (and the Administrator/Moderators) is really good about qualifying new members......by and large the people who populate this list of loonies are true car nuts of all types.....go-fast, keep-it-stock-and-beautiful, bling, and anything goes. You'll find that, as you get your feet wet, things cruise along more smoothly.

Don't quite understand the post delay up in Seville/Eldorado, though. We're always looking for someone to crucify :rolleyes:.
