I just found this on my local craigslist today. I know jack about Allantes but I am fimiliar with the 4.x motors since my Fleetwood has a 4.5. I believe that by this year they had fixed all the problems that plagued the original 4.1 engine. I am going to stop by on my way home from school and have a lookey at it.

It's always worth a look. Just do plenty of reading here, first. The purchase price is just the start of the ownership costs with these cars. I spent about $3,500 with my mechanic last year getting my new Allante squared away with tires, brakes, radio, top, keyless entry, A/C compressor, etc. It needs another $1K of work this year for annual maintenance and replacement of the A/C evaporator core.

Exterior-wise, there's one major problem...
...It's not in my garage!

The only one one person with an Allante, and its in the shop a lot more than its on the road.... but when it is on the road its awesome. Thats a rare car one of about 2,500. Id say its for sure worth a look.
