This guy has gone off the freakin deep end. I know Hollywood types can be eccentric but :pwn:. Last I read about this guy he was trying to become a rapper (like rap music), and fell off the stage while performing. I read he was swearing off the Hollywood lifestyle and acting in favor of trying new things...er....like rapping.

Yeah, give up probably 20 million per film, grow a beard, and become a moron. :bonkers: I'm glad to see Letterman said what is on everybody's mind.

It looks like schtick to me.
Basically, he was doing an "Andy Kaufmann" at Dave's expense.
Letterman would've been pissed at the time, but look at all the free press today.
At times, you could see Joaquin almost smirking through his costume.

That was really odd. Definitely an awkward interview. Who does he think he is? John Lennon?? I thought Joaquin was a hell of an actor. Now I don't know...

Yeah his smirks make me doubt the sincerity, I'm leaning toward an act.

Actors act. It's their thing.

I had seen the stories of him with the beard and falling off the stage, etc. If you google you can find lots of info. Too bad he's flipped out. :(

I don't give a damn if he leaves town on a freight train.

Let's burn him at the stake and see if he can rise from the ashes.
