An 06 STS engine with a 07 E67 STS PCM in a 57 Chevy.

This is a Northstar tuning forum...Why not ???

We now need to get into a FWD - RWD distinction, because the two drivetrains are as night and day when it comes to mods and maintenance.

One huge benefit is that there is no excuse for not having a real exhaust system with a RWD insallation.

The car won't run. I need to dissable the "VATS" and turn off some other items to get them going again on the build. I will be doing either another "Tune" for them on that PCM or they will send me a second one to spend some time on. :thumbsup:

Does look like a sweet project. That's the blown 4.4? Are they swapping in engine and trans? May as well swap the heated seats also.:D

its funny what shows up at wrecking yards around michigan. or automotive recyclers. seems these low mileage cars get scrapped and somehow the drivetrains get reused. you could drop in a blown smallblock like a thousand other rodders have done or put in a late model setup. very cool.

The shop I did my work for is located down I85 from my new house in Rock Hill SC.
The guy with the Turbo Northstar in the back of the Mazda truck got us hooked up.

The shop has built some very impressive show cars.

We have put this aside for the last couple of months and are now trying to get this going again.
I would like to know more about what you have done to get the motor running?
Any help you can offer would be great!
These are great motors and our next project is to put a supercharged one in a 57 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham.
