Just bought an '04 Deville DTS last Saturday. LOVE IT! I've wanted this car for sooo long. Anyway, it has the BOSE system, no nav. Problem is, I get the bass, mid, treble, etc. set right where I like it and save it to position #1 in the memory and the next time I go to drive the car, they're gone. They reset back to the default middle position on all levels. Station presets are still there. What's the deal. I have no doubt that it's me and not the car. ;) Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I had that problem also, don't know if it the same as the 99 STS but i had to set the bass, mid, treb. for a station then hold down the button to reprogram that favorite. The favorite button not only stores the station but also your audio preferences for that station.
Hope this helps.

I dug and dug and dug through the past posts and found the same info you replied with. It worked the same way for me also. Thanks for the reply though.
