I am really digging the last one, the 1995 with 97K. It even has a moonroof!

Was the moonroof a factory option, or just all aftermarket?

Both. Factory it was a rare option, i.e. known as the power Astroroof. Otherwise, since so few dealers ordered them so equipped, most Fleetwoods you see with a power slider are aftermarket installs, most also still done when the cars were new.

That #3 car has an aftermarket one, as evidenced by the black sunshade handle and shaping of the headliner behind it.

Otherwise...cool cars. I STILL wish I could drive a stock V4P car sometime, just to see what the stock firmer suspension, different tuning, and 3:42 (or 3:73 with the '93 L05) were like, vs. the base/standard.

Time for a V4P Elias, to take the place of that Tahoe;)

That first one is GORGEOUS! I love that white/beige color combo on these!

With the V4P package, does it shift firmer than a usual FWB? I've noticed that when I put my Astro into the tow/haul mode the 1-2 shift is a LOT firmer than it usually is. I wonder if the V4P Fleetwoods are like that too..

I really like that 2nd one, the blue on blue. I really like the factory vinyl top delete. You simply don't see a Fleetwood Brougham without the vinyl top.

Elias, you've surely owned one with the blue interior. I'm still not sure on that shade of blue leather. Is it really dark blue like my 1991 Brougham, or is it a kind of light baby blue?

The only one we had with a blue interior was the '96 Fleetwood Limo we bought for my sister's wedding. It is an awful color IMO. Much lighter than your 1991 Brougham.

Why rent when you can buy one and then make $2K selling it?

It is the factory towing package with extra tranny cooler, 3.42 gears, and mechanical fan. Can tow 7,000 lbs :yup:

Or 3.73 even in the 93 Fleetwood.

I miss driving mine, going to get it back on the road soon... nothing like driving a Cadillac...

But honestly, 26.6 mpg city/highway on the Buick is nice.... i have got it up to 31ish on the same drive. But 26.6 is the reading as of today, keeping speeds down and 280 miles on this tank so far, and only used a tad over 9 gallons of my 18 gal tank. Not complaining there.

wish I could convince the wife to get a limo and we can put the kids in back and close the privacy window to keep them quiet.... But she won't give up her big block K2500 Suburban.....

Nice limo! Oh, and that "other" FW behind it is kinda nice too....

I see a little gold circle badge on the grill of some fleetwoods, what is that badge?

Its the heritage of ownership medallion. The dealership gives it to you when you buy a new Cadillac, it has in roman numerals the number of Cadillacs you have owned.

thanks Aron. I have only noticed it on some. do they fall off usually or something, you would think most start with it on?

I always wondered if you could get it if you bought used Cadillacs or is it only for NEW? I read the owners manual and it didn't say at all.

Bert? Do you know?

I haven't seen any new badges in a few years. Hmmmm?
My service director has a collection of nice ones. He just has one of each number and I think he goes up to 13

You could get them if you bought the car certified used as well. Personally the new badges look horrible. Google Cadillac Heritage of Ownership and you find a few pages with lots of info.

AJ, are you planning on coming down in August this year? I remember Hiline was gravely ill, is he doing better?

I've tried finding heritage badges on ebay to no avail. Any other suggestions? I've tried junkyards too.

There are plenty on Ebay, you just have to wait for a good one to come along. I just searched for "Cadillac Heritage" and these came up along with a few others.
