I am getting an XBox 360 CHEEP tonight and want to know what's the best game to learn Midwest USA circuit's like Mid-Ohio.



Would love to see New Jersey Motorsports Park and Summit Point Main in a video game format, but that's a pipe dream surely..

Forza 2 is the best out there right now (until Forza 3). Laguna Seca, Sebring, and Road Atlanta are the only US tracks included though.

Second Forza 2. Track selection is a bit weak, though...

Forza 2 for sure. They have more maps to download and buy now those maps are either free or have been discounted because I think when I bought the Road America map pack it cost me $4 I think and that was when it first came out over a year and a half if not 2 years ago. Forza 3 should be out by the end of this year and from what I hear it's supposed to be badass! They were supposed to debut at the E3 show but I think that has already come and gone and I haven't heard anything about it since. They were saying that the DVD discs are going to be a problem because Forza 3 is supposed to have 400+ cars and 100+ tracks so they said expect to sell with two discs.

i third that, youll love forza 2

unless of course youre into games like need for speed...nothing wrong with those types of games, i love them too. but they are anything but realistic. totally different type of driving going on

do people still care about cadillacs on these forums? i see alot of talk about hyundais toyotas nissans etc, not much cadillac talk going on anymore

^ We are open to new things. This is the general chat section and you will see that we do flame the other car makers quite often. I think the biggest thing is that many of us either no longer own a Caddy or have more than one car. Look at me, I'm 18 and in college but I have my Caddy and a truck for my winter beater. A lot of people on here have the Caddy and then an alternative car for when they don't want to take something else.

They have to be downloaded. I think the CTS-V is the only Cadillac that comes wiht the game but I may be wrong on that. I know I downloaded the Cadillac pack and it came with the STS-V and XLR-V. I know there was at least 3 cars it came with so it may have been the CTS-V or the Cadillac LMP.

If VIR is a playable track then it isn't on the main games ie., Forza, Gran Turismo. The only USA race tracks in the game are Road Atlanta, Road America (you have to download it), and thats all I can think of off the top of my head. I haven't played Forza 2 in a year in a half or longer

I heard that the game is basically impossible to beat though. You mess up once and your done while the computer drivers never make a mistake

Some good older games for the original Xbox that were great were the TOCA race series and a game called APEX. APEX wasn't the most realistic racing game but the cool thing was that you start off as a race car driver and once you start doing good you open your own car company and can make your own cars. You get to choose the body, engine, FWD, RWD, or AWD, the name of the car, and pick the cars logo. Once you make your first car you have to use it in race series and judging by how well you did in the race series you will sell more cars until you have enough money to upgrade your car companies facilities or to make more cars. It was a real fun game

I loved the feel of the cars and the damage in TOCA 2 for the original Xbox. If you liked it as well, check out GRID for the 360. No customization options sadly, but the handling physics are (in my opinion) more realistic than Forza or Gran Turismo. They also have tons of car types like TOCA (open wheel, muscle car, GT) and lots of different event types.

SegaGT for the dreamcast was like that. IMO its one of the best simulations ever. better than gran turismo of its time.

Sega GT for xbox blew balls compared to the Dreamcast version. i wish sega would remake the dreamcast version except for 360

I had that game and I was never really impressed with it. It had it's good elements but for the most part it was meh. The Sega GT for the xbox was just garbage from the beginning
