The 2009 CTS-V brake pads throw a huge amount of brake dust. Has anyone come up with a replacement pad that is easy on the rotor, has equal stopping power and very little dust. Don't laugh, the Chrysler SRT8's have the same problem and it was solved with an after market pad. TIA.

The aftermarket SRT-8 pads with less dust do not have equal stopping power, but they're still very good for daily driving. I've decided to stick with the stock pads and live with the dust.

I just sold my SRT-8 and i did switch pads. The SRT-8 pads were a lot worse that the CTS-V's. I think i can live with CTS-V pads. Give it another month or two and they will be out there with a replacement pad. Cecil...........

Wheel Wax your wheels and hose them down (after cooling) to keep them clean.

Thanks all, I too just sold my SRT-8 that I had installed the CTEK pads from Zeckhausen, for street use they seemed as good as OEM with practically no dust. I'll do the wax thing and take another look then.
