My sisters father-in-law retired to Oregon and got jailed the first month for cutting down a tree on his own land. Within another month he had returned to Alaska to finish out his years. I gave a friend a ride to traffic court when I was going to Oregon State. A guy whose case was heard ahead of us had been stopped by the troopers for doing over 100MPH in his Ferrari. The judge asked the trooper what the road, the weather, and the traffic were like. The trooper replied that it was a clear day, the road was in good shape, and traffic was light.
