hey all i finely got the hub off my crankshaft
now when i press this on should i lube the outside of this hub
where it contacts the front oil seal? theres some slight grooving
on the hub but i think its ok

Polish any scoring or grooving in the hub wiht some 600 sandpaper and clean up the surface thoroughly afterward.


It is a good idea to pack some grease between the front seal lips before installing the hub. Lube the inside and outside of the hub with engine oil when you install it. Pull the hub on with a threaded installer....not a hammer.

i have the correct threaded installer so im good to go on that
