I am presently in the market for an 07 or 08 ESV to replace my 07 Denali.

I have noticed some differences in the 3 rectangular buttons below the climate controls on some of the trucks I have looked at.
In some of the ESV's I am looking at the right button has no symbol, whereas some have a symbol on that button.


My Denali has 4 buttons, adjustable pedals, windshield washer heater, stabilitrack on/off and rear audible back up on/off.

What are the 3 buttons for on the ESV?

Adjustable pedals, power running boards, and I can't remember the third one.

If your Escalade is missing one of those features the button will be a blank placeholder (mine is missing power running boards, for example).

Man that was fast........thanks Mark. If this was retail I would say EXCELLENT customer service....lol!

Most seem to have no symbol on that right or third one.
This one has power boards, but only 2 marked buttons......(if memory serves me correctly).

And any "Gurus" that read every post every day know what changes were made from the 07's to 08's (saw the 08/09 comparo thread)?

Since they deleted the heated washer option the button proably went away also. Might be down to two buttons, power running boards and power pedals.

Or is the fluid heated automatically based on another type of switch that may be temperature based and automatic and no switch needed hence the blank switch button?

08s have the heated washer fluid system... Atleast mine does...
Pedals, Steps, and heated windshield. mine is a 08 ESV fully loaded... Manufactured after the recall on the heated fluid system
