or since Aero asked, Nick at AR said they have 1 prototype project that starts tomorrow and will be on it directly after that. He said they have a V2 readily available. He is getting me more info but wanted me to pass this along as well.
i guess the proof will be in the dyno... :cheers:

"I can give you a much better idea of what we’ll be doing after I get the car on the lift and take a look. I expect the headers will be full length 1-7/8” long tubes. We tested 1-3/4” headers on the ZR1 and they fell short to the 1-7/8 throughout the rpm range. Also the systems will have 200 cell metallic substrate cats like our Vette systems. It’ll be about 2-3 weeks before we get going on the prototype but I should have the V in the shop sooner to get a good look at it."

I would prefer to go with American Racing over Kooks anyday. I have had Kooks headers before and have seen the difference in build quality and performance gains between Kooks and AR headers and I make one solid vote for AR headers.
