Damn I am considering making a trade, but I love my SDV. The conflict!

That's not stock, and it looks rather weird. Burgundy/tan interior doesn't work very well. If it was black/tan it would look great, or black/burgundy.

What conflict? Seems like a no-brainer to me...

Buy the Fleetwood; keep the Deville.

You're right, it's definitely either aftermarket, or a possible one-off. Either way, I like it. The exterior paint is almost flawless, which suggests that it has been garaged (highly possible given the relatively low mileage), or re-painted (like, given the age).

Looks like someone took the seats out of a burgundy interior Fleetwood Brougham and put then in there.:ill: And what is that thing above the gauge cluster??

By the way, I posted this in case anyone here was in the market. I love the car, but for right now, I'm going to stick with my SDV and hammer out any small kinks.

My guess is they pulled those seats out of a junkyard car to replace the awfully worn tan seats it came with. At 124K, those front seats most likely needed side bolsters and leather near the side controls.

Good question, does anyone know what that is above the gauges. It looks like a lamp monitoring system but I have never seen one like that before.

Save your money and don't buy it. You can find ones in better condition with half the miles for the same price. It looks like it has had its fair share of run ins with other cars. Broken cornering light, dented rear fenders and the dashboard is peeling. Look at the the bottom of the pictures of the headlight switch.

Check this out. Not necessarily lower miles but better cared for and it has an lt1. http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/995263349.html It says they paid $38K new, thats it? My '95 DeVille was $43K brand new, the guy had the original window sticker.

There is another one in the Chicago craigslist, a 1993 Fleetwood with 55K miles for $2500. The ad he has on there now does not have pictures but it has been up for a while and it was a good looking car.

If you want rare colors, feast your eyes on this. http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/992282441.html

The first link was flagged for removal. As for the second link, nice colors, but I wouldn't want an `86. Thanks, though.

^ Hmm. Well, the first one is a white 1995 FWB. White with beige interior. 130K miles but it was driven to Florida in the winters. Owned by some elderly people so you know it was well cared for.

Somehow a Fleetwood does`nt look right without whitewalls.

What's with those centercaps?

You're right, it doesn't. It isn't uncommon to see older Cadillacs with plain blackwalls, though. The tires look a bit dry rotted to me, which would be an excellent excuse to put whitewalls on them.

What's wrong with them?

The hood ornament in one pic looks like a UPS truck. That would have to go.
