I'm not sure if this was posted before (probably was, but I searched and couldn't find anything). Here are the best pictures I've seen so far on the web with the Sapele Wood Trim.

Seems nice compared to the *ahem* faux carbon fiber.

...nope. Wood is for the DTS crowd.

Looks way better than that faux carbon plastic. When will it be available?

Funny how people LOVE the euro trash - it has wood.

I think in the production cars, the wood is black cherry or something like the XLR-V (the wood in the first pic). I think the sapele (reddish/brown) wood like the CTS is ONLY available in the CTS, not the V, unless you get a kit from Sherwood OR order the Sapele CTS inserts from GM and replace the carbon fiber ones that came in the car.

I think the interior trim would look best in piano black all around.

-Although, the REAL carbon trim like on the RS4 is bad ass. Performance derived with the looks to suit.

I would be nice to have the option of a real carbon fiber trim.

Agreed. The faux carbon is beyond cheesy and belongs, well, doesn't belong anywhere if you ask me :D
