: Am i the only guy trying the passwords 1 by 1 for the radio?

Hold down FAV then press config and info all at the same time.

It just pops up a secret menu that is password protected.

A 4 digit number. MAYBE the fix for full navigation while driving.

I did notice however, when i cut the can wires and just sent it accessory mode on messages on the buss, that everything worked fully while driving...

To bad it isnt just an easy fix. Not to many people have the right stuff to send messages and it is a pain to do it every time you drive. Also if the laptop battery dies, the radio shuts off. :banghead:

What happened to the old radios that had an actual ignition wire.. lol Just one 12v batt in, the rest is with can messages from the BCM.........

With 4 digits, there are only 10,000 choices.

Yeah it sucks. you can enter about 1 try a second, but it is still 14 hours worth of work.

Couldnt you simply buy the LockPick to unlock NAV/DVD while driving? It works for me!

I have a lockpick, I think i have 3 of the lockpicks here in stock if anyone else wanted one. I was just trying to save everyone 300 bucks each....

I have figured out a new way to make everything work while driving, but the hardware to do what i do is about 10k.. I guess the cheap way to do it, would be a mongoose from drewtech and then send messages on the buss that way, But you need to "CUT" the signal from the radio and send/recieve only the messages you want, and Send ACCESSORY mode active to the radio and block ignition on engine running. And send parking brake on. I think that was F0-10-80-01-00-00 I would have to check.
