: My first burnout

This car is going to be dangerous come spring when the weather clears a bit.

I don't know what got into me last night, but on my way to pick up my son at practice I was sitting at a light all alone. Light turns green, I stay on the brake and give her a bit of gas. Boy did the tires light up awfully easy. I stood there for a good 3 seconds letting is spin oh so fluently and smoothly before I let off the brake. What a rush.

I have did a few burnies on the STS-V, but damn it was nothing like this car. So smooooooooooooth.

It's bad when you have 400 miles on it and already smokin the tires.

I have to admit I did my first one as well at 600 miles in my parking lot. No brake though, just stomped on it. I seriously thought the fire department was going to be called from all the smoke. 1/2 mile down the road, I look in my side mirror and besides all the smoke I left behind I notice the tire walls are still smoking. I completely agree, this is going to become an expensive car in the summer :yup:

Just as in threads that involve talk about females, it's worthless without pics or video.

For shame, OP. For shame.

I have a feeling there will be a 09 diff assembly for my car in the not so distant future :D

Just a request to all of you 09 V owners: Please make sure all of the damage is done to the front of the car. :)

BTW, Cool on the burnout!
