I just bought a 2009 XLR-V and I burned a CD hoping to play it in the 6 CD changer audio/NAV system and it does not work. What's the trick? Thanks!

Make sure you're not burning to a CD-R/W. Instead, use only CD-R's and you shouldn't have any problems with the CD player reading the disk.
Good luck,

I don't believe the CD Changer in the XLR is compatible with MP3s.

You might want to make sure the disk is finalized. Depends what program you burned it with; some automatically finalize but a few don't. If it's not finalized, it will play on a computer but not in any run-of-the-mill CD player.

I used Windows Media Player and burned the files in the WMA format on a CD/R disk. Works in my 03 Escalade EXT, so I am guessing it will work in yours.
