Don't remember you saying you got aftermarket calipers, what are those red things?

And where are the burnout videos!!

06-27-04, 07:24 PM
Your memory is correct, who said anything about aftermarket calipers? ;)

Haven't done a burnout yet as it only has a hair over 400 miles on it. It has been sitting in the garage for the past seven days getting its nine coats of Zaino. Finally made it out today for a little twisties action and the obvious photo session. :coolgleam

For those of you who have never experienced a V, here's some LS6 music for you. My first ever in car video, lol. I need to come up with a better camera position than just setting the tripod on the rear tunnel hump. :)

You are insane!

:coolgleam WOW - Looks like a $MILLION$ BUCK$. Red calipers look great on the black V. Now take it out, enjoy it, and get it DIRTY!

Not exactly a 'stealth' V with those bright red Z06-like calipers, but I must admit it does look rather nice. :)

Love the red calipers...
Looks like you kept the V logo on the calipers... here's another option: http://www.eagleday.com/brcapaki.html

This is my 8th black vehicle - they've all had red calipers. :)

Bought the paint at a local autoparts store. Applied about six light coats on each corner.

For the inexperienced painters, do not try this at home - ***you have been warned*** - overspray is evil if the ENTIRE car is not properly protected. And don't forget to prepare the surface, fisheyes are also evil! Have I scared you enough yet? Good, be scared - these are $50k+ vehicles, not a $3k Honda Civic - don't ruin it with a $4 can of paint. :tisk:
