Hello. I was just wondering... Would it be possible to take out the ECU out of the car and instead of the ECU plug in a laptop?? So the laptop works as the ECU. Main reason for that mod would be easy tuning etc. You get whatever you chose in the menu. Of course the wiring would have to be redone. It seems possible, afterall ECU is a computer just like the laptop. What do you think??

P.S. No more dieing ECUs :) Just fix the laptop...

No, but you can replace PROM with laptop, I can do that now.

Friend of mine runs his 3800 with a MSII, fun PCM to play with.

Not something I would run on a daily driver yet, but getting there, I would rather go with an GM OEM PCM.....
