Hi all

I just bought a 2003 Seville STS with factory Nav and XM. I already have a Sirius subscription and wanted to replace the XM tuner with a SIR-GM1, but i don't know where it is located. I looked on ALLDATA at work and it had no info about sat radio anything.

any help would appreciated

Thanks
Derek

nope
they are vin encoded and unlike radios once programmed they cannot be reprogrammed

Yep, the XM unit can only be cleared by a technician who has the proper interface and software to do it. It used to be an option in the Tech 2 when it first came out to clear the XM.
