Hey Guys,

Im a NOOB to this forum, but have owned 2 escalades.
I just bought an 05 ESV Platinum in black.

I had 24's on my 02 some (I think they were called) BOSS 313, the ride was OK nothing to complain about.

Now for the esv im looking at 2 sets (pics below)
Davicni 24's or
Verde 26's
How is the ride of 26's vs 24's
Will I need to modify anything for the 26's

Your help and input is GREATLY appreciated! :worship:

Cheers

24's (This is a 2007 I know...Mines a 2005)

The 26"s ride great. I have had no problems with them. I have two almost new sets of 26"s for sale, There are picd in a thread on here that I posted yesterday. The thread is titled new mods or something to that effect. They look just like the wheels on the bottom pic on the Avalanche.

Do you have to cut any of the plastic/wheel liner? or any spacers needed? or any rubbing?

My ONLY options are 24's in the Dvinci's or 26's in the Verde
(only cause a guy owes me money so he said you can have my 24's or 26's with a little money)

A little bit of the liner will need to be cut for turning. It will take you 10 minutes to trim. After that its all gravy train. Trust me do 26"s. I think my 26"s look small on my truck after having them for awhile, and seeing how much space I had left. I am probably gonna sell both sets of 26"s I have and get some 28"s this spring.

How much are you gonna end up paying for the 26"s?

I can get the 26's for 3800
or the 24's for 2500

I want the 26's just worried about RIDE quality
and I like the look of the 24's!!!

so tough :thepan:

Ive seen the 02-06 Escalade on 28's, and IMO they are too big. They look gawdy. On this body style 26's look perfect.

the 26's are going to need a brake upgrade right?

You dont have to get bigger brakes. Although most people recommend it. I didnt upgrade, and I stop just fine. I can dig what you guys are saying about the 28"s but I just feel like my 26"s look small to me. I may lift my truck a little and slap the 28"s on.
