This is the first one we made, of two. The second was better. Thicker bacon, more cheese. The pictures didn't come out as well though...

Amazing.

We're thinking that we're going to start making breakfast burritos like this. Add a little bit of diced tomatos, a thin layer of hashbrowns, some country gravy and an egg and you've got it made.

Nope. Money didn't make it. My uniforms cost $1300 and I still have to get a pair of boots. I budgeted for $650, which is what they told us to set aside for them. Maybe in the springtime. :(

Yeah, I know what you are trying to make with it, and it would only work if you did it in the oven because it can't be crispy, but it's still better on the stove!

The stove gives you that nice crispiness while keeping all the bacon nicely soaking in it's own grease.

Ah, a common flaw for people that try and make crispy bacon! They over cook it to well done not knowing that you can have medium bacon that is crispy! You just gotta manage the grease, man!!

Crispy = WRONG.

I like bacon that will bend over a fork. Sometimes even bacon you can see through.

I cook bacon to the point where the fatty ends are still wiggly, but the lean part in the center is relatively crispy.

One of my favorite things to do is cook bacon first, then cook scrambled eggs in the leftover bacon grease, then chop up the bacon and mix it together with the eggs :drool::drool::drool:
