My car has always leaked. The trunk leaked, and even worse, the windshield leaked. Unfortunately, the owner before me got a moron to put in a new one and when he repaired it, never got it to seal properly. Came outside one day about a month ago and saw a large puddle of water in my drivers seat. Took it to my dealer and they payed a guy to re-seal it. Well, I took it through the car wash the day after and guess what? It leaked. So, it has rained all day today and it's been leaky ever since. I was telling my boss about it (I consider him more of a friend than a boss) and he said "Well, leave it in the service drive and go pick out a rental". Hehe, well I couldn't find the keys to a Pontiac G6, nor a Buick LaCrosse. Instead, I got this:

Now I'm sure it's no big deal to some, but for me it is. I've been itching to drive one of these cars since they came out and now I finally can! I like the car so far, though mine is more comfortable and has a better ride. The handling is loads better, and the interior doesn't easily disassemble like mine. I should have my car back Monday or Tuesday, with either a completely re-sealed windshield or a brand new one (I'm hoping the latter) at no charge to me. God I love working at a Cadillac dealership!

I had a 08 CTS loaner and other than the shitty wheels and purplish color I loved that car. The interior is what a Caddy is supposed to be, rather than the Fisher Price/Rubbermaid interior I have with a giant ATM in the center of my dash. Ill take my engine though.

I agree, the interior of this car is extremely well build and elegantly styled. I do have to say, after spending more time behind the drivers seat, i'm not a huge fan of the seats. They are too small, and this particular car has the leatherette (which looks very much like leather). I'm also not used to the steering, which is alot more twitchy than my car. There is no comparison in ride... but I will say the car doesn't ride as harshly as I expected.

I do miss my Northstar though. The power delivery is much smoother, and the exhaust note is so much more pleasing. Overall, I like the CTS but I don't think I would trade my car in for one. Unless it was the fully loaded model; I will probably end up with a '05+ STS as my next car.

I had to take the CTS back today :( Dealer gave me a G6 which actually isn't a half bad car. I've been in many but never had the chance to drive one. If I ever had to downgrade my Seville, I'd possibly consider it.
