The nav disc that I have is pretty scratched, which may be causing it, but it makes quite a bit of tracking/spinning noise...does yours?

Very noisy when the radio/fan is off.

Maybe a newer, less scratched disc would solve the prob....

Mine does it too. Can't hear it when the truck is on, though.

I got a new disc and for a few days it was nice and quiet. I was super excited...then I had to take it out for some reason and when I put it back in it was the same way. If you invest in a new one don't take it out!

I can hear mine when it is running. I would say it is fairly noisey

Mine's pretty noisey as well.
I have a brand new disk without a scratch on it; it was unwrapped, inserted, and never removed.

Mine is also noisy. I have noticed if it gets too noisy, and I take it out and put it back in, it runs quiter for a while.

Those of you who have scratched Nav disks. Before you go out an buy a new one. Go to a place that works on video games i.e. playstation etc. Have them buff your disk. Essentially removing all scratches. Did this on my old Expedition. Cost me 2.00. much better than 200.00 for a new disk.

Add mine to that list. Not nearly as noticable when driving but with radio off and at idle, you can here it pretty well.
When the truck gets turned off, the disc still keeps spinning until you open the door. It is VERY noisy then.
