96Fleetwood

This weekend was Chevy Vettefest here in Chicago. I entered my '96 Fleetwood along with some '96 Impalas from the local club: The HERD.
It was a great weekend. I dropped the car off Friday night and thought I got it looking pretty good.... then come back Saturday morning to find a layer of dust on it and had to start all over again.
The car was judged around 1pm on Saturday. Three judges came over and had LED flashlights, long qtips, and rags to check every nook & cranny.
I scored a 943/1000. I won a Silver award! Most of my points were deducted for undercarriage. Most of the owners there have lifts or access to a lift, so they can shine their exhaust, frame rails, and wheel wells to their hearts desire.
There were about 600 cars there, some worth half a million dollars! It was an honor to have been accepted to display my car there. The Fleetwood was a hit! I walked around hearing people tell each other to check out the Caddy (it was the only Cadillac in the show).
I met some great people, even the owner of a local Cadillac dealership who was amazed with what I did with a Fleetwood.
Here are a few pics:
