I have a 2006 Cadillac Escalade with some issues in regards to the windows, heated seats, electric seats and foot control button. I took it to the dealership and they replaced a fuse, but that blew right after I drove away from the dealership within two minutes. The second time after replacing the fuse, it blew again and the dealership came back and told me that the aftermarket alarm system in the car may be the cause of the problem, so I had a local alarm specialist remove the alarm system ($60) and took the SUV back a third time to the dealership. The dealership replaced a circuit breaker, and two fuses. I was charged for the labor and parts this time, $75. After one day of driving again, the windows (passenger front and back) do not work, I can't move the electric seats, the heated seats (both driver and front passenger only) do not work and the foot pedal button does not work to make adjustments.

Hands in the air now!!!!!!!!!! Looking for solutions if any out there!!!!

Thanks

hmmm.... since most of the controls are on the door panel, maybe the panel was taken off for some reason at the dealer and they forgot to put the plug back in before they installed the door panel?

good luck, wiring is a nightmare and a half.... i would just go over all the fuses again and see if any popped.

Update: After getting the car back again, the tech's informed me that it was a grounding issue under the driver's side wiring. Drove it for about ten minutes and make a quick stop, got back into the car and moved the seat, lights flickered quickly off and on for a quick second and things were back to the same condition again of no electric seats working, no windows working and heated seats not working. Took it back to dealership service department again this monring for another full day of trying to figure out what is going on.

Hey guys i have a 2002 escalade 6.0 lq9
Eversince i bought it about 4 years ago the memory seats or the power mirrors work, and when i say power mirrors i mean the the power tilt to move the mirror around NOT the folding part.
Ive checked the fuses and evrythings seems to be in order but still no reponse from neither seats or the mirrors.
Anyone with the same problem or a solution?

Update: Car has been FIXED!!!!!!!!. The problem was caused by a loose wire grounding under the driver's seat. Each time my seat was moved or if I used the windows, the wire caused the fuses to blow. Eventually, the tech side that this was pretty dangerous with a hot wire loose like that under the driver's seat. I'm glad that it is resolved and very thankful the tech's took the time and removed the entire seat from the car to figure out what was going on. Overall, the dealership did not charge me a penny after the first time I had to pay for the labor and parts. The service department was very professional and apologized repeatdly until the probelm was fixed.

I'm glad they were able to get to the cause of the problem for you. Did they refund your $75? It should have all been under warranty right?

:thumbsup:FIXED!
So on my 2002 escalade I decided to remove the interior door panel and noticed that basicaly behind and under the armrest part of the door there is a small black box about 4"x3" and there two wire clips that were not conected. maybe a result of the previous owner or alarm guys tinkering with the door. Well anyways in compltely brought back my power mirrors and memory seats. i was so happy that i almost didnt notice my knees slowly smashing against the kick panel! hey at least they work!
